It is the common name of a plant endemic to Cartagena, in the region of Murcia, in Spain. It is typical of volcanic soils and is believed extinct. It was recently rediscovered. It is part of the Mediterranean scrub. Its scientific name is Astragalus nitidiflorus and belongs to the Fabaceae family and is protected.
